Ideas to interact consumer and show them their awe!

Right as Matt said we should not just decide what people's awe and desires are, we need to maybe show other people's awes and make consumers want that.

So I had a few ideas like the question with mine, yours, a bloggers and a writers answer, could be a question that links to awe.

I am going to ask Olivia more questions about her desires and awe's to mix into the interview.

And I also saw the article above which is an artist in america and shows her home and how it is kitted out, we could always do something like this as a room is a personal space and people make it how they exactly want it. could do an article on it and maybe use some bits and quotes from dvc?
just some ideas!! xx

[Update]

Hi Emma, just thought I'd leave a little update of todays goings on to keep you in the loop :) Firstly, I have sealed the deal with Sarah Bourne and shes happy to give us whatever we need asap! What a babe. Also, I have chosen 6 topics for the 'have you heard page'..which took ages because I want them to be really relevant to our readers. They are as follows:

1) Ernest Neto exhibition, The Hayward museum London.
2) Psychic Chasms, debut album from Neon Indian
3) Latitude Music and Arts festival, southwold (my personal fave of the festivals)
4) The Enchanted Palace exhibition/ Party at the Enchanted Palace, Kensington Palace.
5) Alex Box (abstract makeup artist) collaborates with Rankin, exhibition and book launch
6) The Impossible project launches new silver shade polaroid film for the classic polaroid camera.

What do you think?? Also, hows things with your comp? See you tomorrow xx

Article Ideas

Fight for our rights
Tamsin Omond is a young British Environmental activist campaigning in the UK to take action against man made climate change. (has led some strong and brave protests and would be prepared to be imprisoned for life for her cause!)

What clothes are made of
"Despite the intimate relationship we have with our garments, we seem happy to keep turning a blind eye, as we are not prepared to pay the real price of the worth of our clothes"
How we look for the cheaper option even though our clothes are imbued by us with story, emotion and fragrance.

How design needs to improve to run alongside the eco trend
Design needs to be comprehensive, ethical, versatile, self-reflexive and adaptable. The new designers that are up and coming need to be educated into eco friendly materials and ideas to create a sustainable future.

Maybe an article on chocolate :-P (can introduce fairtrade)

Joan Jett- new film about her old, all-girl punk band the runaways!
thought relates to target market, film seems quite arty.
